The speakers include Tatiana Melnik, Attorney, Dickinson Wright PLLC, who will kick off the seminar with “The Impact of Compliance”. She will explain the increasing need for multi-compliance and the legal and regulatory impact many companies are facing. Kirk Larson, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Children’s Hospital Central California, will be presenting “BYOD: From Concept to Reality”, detailing how he accomplished developing a secure and compliant Bring Your Own Device environment that allows users to securely interact on various devices.
Paul Hannon, President of SD3, will present the case study “Improving Communication with Medical Mobile Apps.” Participants will learn how a Chief of Plastic Surgery and Mr. Hannon worked through the thickets of encryption, HIPAA compliance, cloud, and mobile devices to improve their workflow.
In addition, Online Tech will host an Invitation Only CIO Breakfast the morning of the event from 7:30-9:00 A.M. ET. CIOs and IT decision makers will have the opportunity to network and share ideas for overcoming the greatest challenges facing CIOs in the past and upcoming year.
