In the Summer 2010 edition of Disaster Recovery Journal an article “Leveraging Cloud Computing for Business Continuity” by David Linthicum speaks to the fact that DR for the cloud could become the next “killer app”.
Leveraging cloud computing resources as a backup system is nothing new he states. But now, says David….we have a greater number of innovative cloud delivered systems to chose from. We at Online Tech couldn’t agree more.
The private cloud not only benefits clients in production environments, but also how the model can easily and cost effectively be leveraged to provide for a disaster recovery scenario.
