We’re looking for a few good people. And we have a beautiful new space to put them.
As we outlined in a recent press release, Online Tech — already the largest secure and compliant data center operator in Michigan — is continuing its recent trend of aggressive growth and renovated 5,000-square feet of Ann Arbor office space to expand our company headquarters.
We experienced significant business and staff growth through some tough economic times the past few years (and have been honored as a Michigan bright spot for it) and doubled our employee count to nearly 50 over the past 15 months.
We’re planning to fill 10 additional professional-level positions in the third quarter of 2013, and Director of Human Resources, Deb Webster, is busy building a ‘pipeline’ section for our website in anticipation of more future growth.
Currently, Online Tech is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Network and Software Engineers and a System Administrators for Windows. In the near future we’ll be hiring Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers. All positions require a Baccalaureate degree and between three and 10 years of professional experience.
To accommodate some of the additional hires – and bring together teams previously spread around Online Tech’s two Ann Arbor data center locations – we doubled the headquarters occupancy to 10,000 square feet at the Burlington Office Center on Eisenhower Parkway on the city’s south side. The increased space allowed us to bring our marketing and product development teams under one roof with the sales team, administration staff and corporate staff. As we continue to grow, we have an agreement to take over the entire third floor (13,000 square feet) of the building.
