Mike Klein, President & COO of Online Tech, will co-present with Gail Einhaus, Compliance, Education and Privacy Officer of Trinity Health on the first day of the two-day Michigan HIMSS event at the Crown Plaza Detroit in Novi.
HITECH Status in Michigan – Navigating the Future of Electronic Health Records will focus on the HITECH Act within the Michigan healthcare industry. Klein will discuss how the HITECH Act has impacted the data center industry from an inside perspective, while Einhaus will discuss how compliance regulations have had an impact on the healthcare system.
Klein’s presentation, Security & Compliance for Processing Facilities, will specifically discuss the impact of HIPAA compliance on data centers, including the administrative, physical and technical safeguards Online Tech has in place.
The event will bring together healthcare and information technology professionals for a collaborative discussion on health IT trends.
