SecureWorld conferences bring together top industry experts to speak on current security issues. The Detroit event is the third in a five-city fall scheduled tour.
As an official sponsor of the regional event, Online Tech will be represented among its world-class security exhibitors (booth 103). In addition, a member of its security team will speak on the conference’s Network Security panel.
Steve Aiello, CISSP, a Senior Systems Engineer at Online Tech, is part of an industry expert panel, Network Security – Beyond Passwords and Firewalls, starting at 1:15 p.m. Thursday in the Keynote Theater.
Aiello and the panel will discuss recent progress made in network security; relevant technology used to add a layer of security to an IT environment; and commonly overlooked traditional methods that can mitigate network threats.
With all of the recent threats and security breach scenarios, it is necessary to create a network that is secure and manageable. Security professionals are tasked with keeping the data and other company assets secure and out of the wrong hands. This discussion will cover the different types of technologies available for keeping the network safe from nefarious individuals. Is two-factor authentication enough? Will next generation firewalls do the trick? Discover the different options that are available for your organization.
At the exhibit, Online Tech will showcase its secure, cloud, colocation and managed server hosting solutions that meet HIPAA, PCI and SSAE 16 compliance standards.
Online Tech is offering a $100 discount on registration for a standard two-day conference ticket, or $200 off a SecureWorld Plus Extended Training ticket. Use code ONTDET12 when registering online: https://rsvp.thesegurogroup.com/event/2012-detroit-secureworld-expo.
